FOOD (GOOD HABITS OF THE CENTENARIAN)
THE IMPORTANCE OF PROTEIN - A RAW DAIRY DIET
As many know, I've suffered with fibromyalgia, me/cfs and intense nausea and weakness for 16 years. I got to the point where I simply could not digest anything without huge abdominal pain and resulting mental confusion. I finally narrowed down the culprits: every grain/cereal carb I put into my body! Soy? Thyroid issues. I literally believe that the carbs were turning into alcohol and poisoning me. My gut became permiable and toxic.
I started with my friend Maureen by giving up wheat after she told me about the book "Wheat Belly". This was a huge step for me and led me to consult further with a friend who was eating a raw dairy diet. His discussion reminded me of the food I loved best all my life - custard. I used to make this often for my children when they were growing, so nurturing. Of course, I usually was the one who wound up eating it all up! I loved it.
So I started preparing a raw dairy shake with some additional suggestions from my friend:
2-3 eggs (free range)
raw milk (lucky I was in Oregon at the time)
yogurt from raw milk
uncooked honey
organic cocoa
organic cinnamon
a few drops of orange flower water (to keep me sweet :>>))
I drank around 14 oz of this twice a day, when i woke around 5am and around 2pm. i started dropping my fat like melting butter. Soon, I dropped the 32 units of Lantus insulin I'd been taking for almost a year. My blood sugar was stable. Then I dropped coffee, tea, crap I used to use to keep myself awake and basically functional.
And then I dropped all my drugs: the opioids, the antiseizures, the serotin-reuptake inhibitors. The stool softeners. The aspirin. I added excellent fish oil and spirolina, as well as drinking lemon-spiked or spearmint water.
Please, dear friends, don't fall for the vegan crap. You are a mammal.
if you have one shot in you to feel like a million bucks, whether you are sick, depressed or just getting by, try this drink! Goat is best if you can get it... Sweet sweet sweet life: I have it back again.
SLEEP (GOOD HABITS OF THE CENTENARIAN)
THE IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP
Some of you know that i have been sick with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome (me/cfs) for 16 yrs. Who knows the real cause of it exactly--toxicity, infection, dysautonomia--but one thing is certain: my sleep was disrupted, as is the sleep of everyone i know who is sick with similar invisible dis-eases, physical and/or mental (which afterall are physical).
With some guidance, I changed my sleeping habits and i simply feel better and better! So many of us activists (and everyone else) stay up late into the night, are overstimulated and get burned out from the undiminishing stress. Stress (movement) is a curve: you go over the hump and you are in over-stim mode, then, eventually, burnout. With the earth already in overstimulation, you can just imagine how our extra "push" later and later into the night causes a dysregulation.
In order to get proper sleep, we first need to turn off all sources of stimulation (computer, tv, lights) PRIOR to sleeping, to rest and to relax by allowing the level of natural melatonin to rise and the cortisol levels to slow. I would suggest doing this prior to 7pm (19h) EVERY NIGHT. Enjoy it! This is your time!
Next step is the actual sleeping around 9-9:30pm (21h30) or earlier. We must have darkness; make sure all light sources are shut out (no tv!) in a dark room or with the use of an eye mask. Make this your very own "sacred" sleep space because you are going to feel so much better that you will wake up rejoicing to be alive! (That's "sacred" enough for me and rare!) Don't get up! Stay in bed until at least 4am except to use the bathroom. I haven't even had to get up to do this. (I recently experienced a few nights of restlessness, but stayed as calm as possible until 4am. I told myself, "Patience!" and I finally returned to sleeping again.)
The first few nights, you may lie there, thinking. Make these good, peaceful, relaxing thoughts. "Discharge". Enjoy it! Within a very short time, you will find yourself falling asleep quickly--afterall, you've had a long day!
And now, my dear friends, may your whole life be better regulated, balanced and at ease rather than in dis-ease, pain and trouble. My best sleeping thoughts for you today! Let's feel good together!
A short, hushed-up history of the earth, life and humankind
When the solar system enters a galactic spiral, as it does approximately every 225 million years, higher galactic electricity raises earth's stimulation and volcanism, causing continuous volcanic winters and adding to the interstellar dust; Earth is turned into a snowball. The last time, 65 million years ago, this phenomenon caused many living things on Earth to vanish; small living things survived. Then, the climate began to warm again over 34 million years, when the Antartica icecap was formed.
The climate has been mostly tropic ever since, until around 3 million years ago when a period of fluctuations in magma-stimulating galactic electricity caused volcanic ice-ages--in short intervals of around 10,000 years--approximately every 100,000 years, when half of the northern hemisphere is covered with a 2m (3km) ice-cap.
Fearless and warless humans in these places survived primarily thanks to their altruism and the use of fire and tools. Other beneficial human customs for the 99.99% of human history include dialogue, painting, music, peaceable birth control (such as long nursing), and many other habits that we notice in warless primitive societies that continue today, such as, until recently, the warless Inuit Eskimoes. (http://www.peacefulsocieties.org/)
The very long warless course of humankind was interrupted fairly recently due to a coincidence: around 10,000 years ago, humans were expanding peacefully all over the Earth except in frozen Antarctica. When they could not find other food and free places to go, some hungry humans became attached to seeds and to deforestation for their cultivation.
A new series of volcanic winters between 7,000-9,000 years ago made deforested plains into deserts, and deforestor Kains and Abels began attacking each other and their unsuspecting neighbors in Saharasia, central Australia and America's deserts. (http://www.saharasia.org - Warless Societies and the Origin of War, Raymond C. Kelly; http://www.press.umich.edu/titleDetailDesc.do?id=11589)
Many ancient traditions (about Hephaestus, Vulcan, Lugh, Agni, Pele etc) show that people must cooperate in adapting to abrupt climate changes induced by volcanic eruptions, such as heavy clouding, violent storms, flooding alternating with drought, as the seas cool and less water vapor descends not as long rain but as downpour.
Since that era, peaceable communities and individuals are trying to calm the aggressive fear-addicts, using free centenarian habits such as right rest, food, and open dialogue, as new volcanic winters will always demand collective cooperation for adaptation. In this way, humankind may end all war, which peaked during the last centuries during and after the last volcanic little ice-age (1258-1900), when well-advertised deforestator feardoms such as the Mayas, Aztecs, and Incas, followed the fate of pharaohs, Romans and khans, collapsing worse into cannibalism.
Now there is a chance to avert not only rising electrical storms and earthquakes but volcanism as well, by diffusing the explosive energy with a strategy of well-placed lightning rods and afforestation. Of course, 7 billion people NEED MUTUAL-AID and GLOBAL AFFORESTATIONS to survive, no matter how soon they agree to implement any of the averting proposals.
